Travellers Lodge is a family owned and operated working backpacker hostel in sunny Hastings, Hawkes Bay. We work closely with local companies and contractors who come to us when they require backpackers for jobs.
One of our main contractors is looking for 8-10 fit hard working backpackers to start work ASAP. You’ll need to be able to commit to at least 6 weeks work. The job is orchard development which means you’ll be helping set-up a brand new orchard so the tasks are varied. We have 25+ backpackers doing this job and everyone seems to really enjoy it. You’ll be working within a team of other backpackers staying at the hostel so it’s a fun environment.
This is a work/accommodation arrangement. Our dorm room rates are $130 per person per week and we can also help with transport to/from work for $25 per week.
