We are looking for someone to help out on our farm from the middle of October until the end of February.

While on our farm you will be milking 470-480 cows through a herringbone shed, feeding the cows, weed spraying and cleaning among other general farm duties.

Our ideal candidate has previous dairy farming experience and is comfortable driving a motorbike. You must have a good work ethic and can work with a team as well as on your own.

The farm is owned by a lovely couple and have several other worked on the farm as well so there are plenty of people to speak to and learn from. The skills you learn on this farm will help you through any other work you do both in dairy farming and outside of dairy farming and you will learn valuable skills that will be assets to any future employers.

Because of our shed, we are looking for one candidate who is between 5’4 and 5’11 as the shed is quite low and we don’t want our employee hurting their head or backs while in the shed every day.
