The Monsoon Bar and Restaurant is the onsite bar of the Rainforest Retreat located in Franz Josef on the West Coast of the South Island. Sitting at the foothills of the southern alps, in the middle of native bush its an area of stunning beauty.
We have a large backpackers, Motels, Deluxe 5 star tree lodges a holiday park and our hugely popular monsoon bar & restaurant that everyone likes to enjoy.
This is a multi-tasked role.
We are looking for experienced wait staff to help out in our busy restaurant. You must be confident and have clear English. You will be required to offer table service to our guests and run meals and drinks. We have an extremely varied clientele so great customer service is essential. We are a evening restaurant so to help you obtain full time hours we will also offer you shifts in our housekeeping team in the mornings.

You must have excellent customer service skills.
Experience waiting on tables or bar work.
Experience in cleaning to a high standard in a timely manner.
Being a great team player and most importantly having a fun positive attitude.
Due to limited accommodation we are ideally looking for a couple or two friends who can share a room or if you have your own van you want to live in we can provide a parking spot.
