NEW ZEALAND
The position of Assembly Technician will be directly responsible for the manufacture of unique products using specialist skills, tools, machinery and plant in a build to order environment.
Job Specific Duties include:
Good understanding of fabrication, welding, and specialist equipment is essential
Safe, efficient, and skillful operation of the following equipment;
Hydraulic test and diagnostic equipment, power pack and hose fitting press,
Power cutting equipment,
Ability to fit hydraulic operating systems and ‘make to suit’ in repair situations,
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Good understanding of engineering technology and safety issues.
Understanding of specialist equipment would be advantageous.
Experience in a finishing workshop
