6. Ascot Motor Lodge
You can’t miss the bright yellow building of the Ascot Motor Lodge near the town centre! The motel has 12 rooms which mostly consist of family/group rooms between the three-person studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. Admittedly, this one is a little out of town but that’s what makes it so charming! Gentle Annie Seaside Accommodation is located in Mokihinui on the shores of a sandy beach with the wilderness area of the Kahurangi National Park and the Old Ghost Road just a short drive away.
